OUR ROLES

CONVENE
AND ACTIVATE CAPITAL STEWARDS

We convene our circle of investors to stop financing harm and to leverage their social, political, and economic capital across asset classes toward justice and reparative infrastructure.

ACCELERATE
AND SCALE SOLUTIONS

By leveraging our social, political, and economic capital along with our unique, community-centered Accelerator, we deploy capital in the ‘friends and family round’ rarely afforded to Black and Indigenous frontline communities. We support these community-led models to scale sustainably while staying rooted in their lived experience.

AGGREGATE
AND DEPLOY CAPITAL

Through our partnership, we are able to scale and capitalize these community-led solutions to meet the moment resulting in outside impacts and returns for community wealth building while delivering risk adjusted returns for investors.

OUR RECENT CONVENINGS

Justice Capital recently co-hosted a learning journey for foundations, investors, and federal leadership to the Standing Rock Nation to see SAGE Development Authority.  US Treasurer Malerba, General Counsel of the Department of Treasury, Neil MacBride, and FERC Chairman, Willie Phillips, joined representatives from the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office, the Whitehouse, along with dozens of foundations and investors welcomed by Chairwoman Janet Alkire and other Tribal Council members of the Standing Rock Nation.
